Greetings Commanders,


Updates are coming to Alliance War to upgrade the rewards for your Alliance's hard work, and level the field between offense and defense. Here's what's in store starting with the next War season:


Updated Rewards

We're upgrading the spoils of war for match rewards and Season Rank Rewards. War Victory and Defeat will now have more Gold, along with new rewards of T1 Iso-8 Green Ions, T2 L1 Iso-8 Blue Ions, and T2 L4 Iso-8 Blue Ions. Also, War Victory will reward even more than before. Season Rank Rewards will see an increase in T4 Ability Materials, along with the addition of Orange Basic Catalyst Parts and Teal Basic Catalyst Parts. To accommodate the above updates, the Advanced Basic Catalyst Parts and T4 Ability Materials will be moved from the Victory and Defeat match rewards.


Character & Room Bonus Updates

To help War Offense teams come to parity with some of the current Defenses, the room bonuses provided to defending teams in the Medbay and the Barracks will be reduced. The positive effects that the Bridge can apply have also been updated (read below). Here are the specific updates:


Medbay

Old:

  • [GLOBAL] +40% Max Health to all DEFENDING ALLIES

New:

  • [GLOBAL] +20% Max Health to all DEFENDING ALLIES


Barracks

Old:

  • [GLOBAL] +20% to Primary Stats to all DEFENDING ALLIES.  Extra +10% bonus to Military ALLIES.

New:

  • [GLOBAL] +10% to Primary Stats to all DEFENDING ALLIES.  Extra +10% bonus to Military ALLIES.


Bridge

Old:

  • The following effects could be applied: Deathproof, Minor Deflect, Regeneration, Stealth, and Immunity.

New:

  • The following effects could be applied: Deathproof, Minor Deflect, Regeneration, Defense Up, and Offense Up.


Character Updates

We'll also be giving slight buffs to several characters on two of the more recent War Offense teams, Dark Hunters and A-Force, in order to help their respective teams perform as intended.


Mordo

New Trait: Adding Dark Hunter to Mordo

Basic - Arcane Scourge

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 220% damage + apply 2 random negative effects.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 280% damage + apply 2 random negative effects.


Special - Mesmerize

Old:

  • Stun primary target + 50% chance to Blind up to 3 targets. 50% chance to Slow up to 2 targets.
  • On WAR OFFENSE:
  • This attack cannot be blocked.
  • If this character has 4 or more MYSTIC allies, the chance to Blind additional targets increases to 75%.

New:

  • Stun primary target + 50% chance to Blind up to 3 targets. 50% chance to Slow up to 2 targets.
  • On WAR OFFENSE:
  • This attack cannot be blocked.
  • If this character has 4 or more MYSTIC allies, the chance to Blind additional targets increases to 100%.


Ultimate - Demons of Denak

Old:

  • Attack all enemies for 240% damage + apply Heal Block for 2 turns.
  • This attack cannot miss.


New:

  • Attack all enemies for 240% damage + apply Heal Block for 2 turns.
  • On WAR OFFENSE, if this character has 2 or more DARK HUNTER allies:
  • Reduce Speed Bar for all enemies with Blind by 30%.
  • Apply Defense Up for 2 turns to self and all Dark Hunter allies.
  • This attack cannot miss.


Passive - Too Many Sorcerers

Old:

  • On Death of any Character, Heal self and the most injured SUPERNATURAL ally for 10% of this character's Max Health.
  • On Death of a Mystic, Heal self and most injured SUPERNATURAL ally for 15% of this character's Max Health + grant 1-2 Ability Energy to self and that ally.


New:

  • On Death of any Character, Heal self and the most injured SUPERNATURAL ally for 10% of this character's Max Health.
  • On Death of a Mystic, Heal self and most injured SUPERNATURAL ally for 15% of this character's Max Health + grant 1-2 Ability Energy to self and that ally.
  • On War Offense
  • > Gain +30% Focus
  • > Dark Hunter allies gain +30% Focus


Elsa Bloodstone

Ultimate - Scatterguns:

Old:

  • Gain Offense Up for 2 turns.
  • Attack primary target and adjacent targets for 280% damage + 45% damage per SUPERNATURAL or DARK HUNTER ally.
  • Characters killed by this attack cannot be revived.
  • On WAR OFFENSE, if this character has 3 or more DARK HUNTER allies:
  • > This attack cannot be blocked.

New:

  • Gain Offense Up for 2 turns.
  • Attack primary target and adjacent targets for 280% damage + 45% damage per SUPERNATURAL or DARK HUNTER ally.
  • Characters killed by this attack cannot be revived.
  • On WAR OFFENSE, if this character has 3 or more DARK HUNTER allies:
  • > Clear all Deathproof from any City targets before the attack.
  • > This attack cannot be blocked.


Captain Marvel

Ultimate - Binary

Old:

  • Gain Binary. Clear all negative effects from self. Attack primary target for 640% damage.
  • This attack cannot be dodged and cannot crit.

New:

  • Gain Binary. Clear all negative effects from self. Attack primary target for 640% damage.
  • This attack cannot be dodged.  ("and cannot crit" was removed)


Passive - Higher. Further. Faster: 

Old: 

  • While in Binary:
  •  Gain 25% Damage, 25% Armor, 100% Focus, and 100% Resistance.
  •  On End of Turn, attack all enemies for 150% damage + clear all Evade.
  •  In WAR, if this character has 2 or more A-FORCE allies, this attack cannot be blocked or dodged.
  • On Turn, heal for 20% of this character's Max Health.
  • On Spawn:
  • Clear all Charged. If any Charged were cleared, gain Regeneration
  • Gain Charged
  • If at least one ally is MILITARY, gain an additional Charged
  • Gain +10% Max Health.
  • A-FORCE allies gain +10% Max Health.
  • MILITARY allies gain +15% Max Health.
  • MILITARY allies gain +10% Damage.

  • Gain +40% Resistance. DEFENDER and A-FORCE allies gain +40% Resistance.

  • After every use of this ability after the first time during a match, randomly choose one of the following effects:
  • Apply Disrupted to the primary target.
  • Gain Deathproof.
  • Apply 2 Counter to adjacent allies.
  • On War Offense, this attack cannot be blocked.

New:

  • Attack primary and adjacent targets for 300% damage + apply 2 Bleed
  • Gain 2 Regeneration.
  • After every use of this ability after the first time during a match, randomly choose one of the following effects:
  • Apply Disrupted to the primary target.
  • Gain Deathproof.
  • Apply 2 Counter to adjacent allies.
  • On War Offense, this attack cannot be blocked.


Passive - Blood Sorcery: 

Old:

  • Gain +50% Drain
  • Gain +50% Focus
  • Gain +40% Focus for each A-Force ally.
  • Gain +10% Max Health per A-Force ally.
  • A-Force allies gain +10% Max Health
  • On War Offense:
  • On Spawn, apply Safeguard, Immunity, and Deathproof to the highest health A-FORCE ally.
  • On Spawn, apply Immunity and Deathproof to the lowest Health ally.

New:

  • When a negative effect is applied to this character or any A-FORCE ally, fill Jessica Jones' Speed Bar by 20%.
  • Gain +50% Drain
  • Gain +50% Focus
  • Gain +40% Focus for each A-Force ally.
  • Gain +10% Max Health per A-Force ally.
  • A-Force allies gain +10% Max Health
  • On War Offense:
  • > On Spawn, apply Safeguard, Immunity, and Deathproof to the highest health A-FORCE ally.
  • > On Spawn, apply Immunity and Deathproof to the lowest Health ally.
